  3. To install the program:
  4.  
  5. * create a directory named \SmartMdb in your root dir
  6. * copy SmartMdb.exe and SmartMdb.ini in the directory you created
  7.  
  8. You are now ready to go.....

  12. To register your copy of SmartMdb please fill the registration form at
  13. the start up of the program and :

  23. NOTICE TO USERS: CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING LEGAL AGREEMENT.
  24. USE OF THE SOFTWARE PROVIDED WITH THIS AGREEMENT (THE "SOFTWARE")
  25. CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE
  26. TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, PROMPTLY REMOVE THE SOFTWARE
  27. TOGETHER WITH ALL COPIES FROM YOUR COMPUTER.  USER'S USE OF THIS
  28. SOFTWARE IS CONDITIONED UPON COMPLIANCE BY USER WITH THE TERMS OF
  29. THIS AGREEMENT. THE SOFTWARE MAY BE EVALUATED FOR THIRTY  DAYS
  30. ON A ROYALTY FREE BASIS. CONTINUED USE AFTER EVALUATION IS CONDITIONED
  31. UPON PAYMENT BY USER OF THE REGISTRATION FEE (10 US$).

  33. 1. LICENSE GRANT. Smartlab grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable
  34.    right to use the SOFTWARE on file servers connected to a maximum
  35.    number of user computers, or on a maximum number of user computers,
  36.    not exceeding the number of user computers specified on the packaging
  37.    for this product. This license to use the SOFTWARE is conditioned
  38.    upon your compliance with the terms of this Agreement. You agree you
  39.    will only copy the SOFTWARE into any machine-readable or printed form
  40.    as necessary to use it in accordance with this license or for backup
  41.    purposes in support of your use of the SOFTWARE. This license
  42.    is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any point by
  43.    destroying the SOFTWARE together with all copies of the SOFTWARE.
  44.    Also, Smartlab has the option to terminate if you fail to comply with
  45.    any term or condition of this Agreement. You agree upon such
  46.    termination to destroy the SOFTWARE together with all copies of
  47.    the SOFTWARE.

  50. 2. REVERSE ENGINEERING. You agree that you will not attempt to reverse
  51.    compile, modify, translate, or disassemble the SOFTWARE in whole or
  52.    in part.

  54. 3. Smartlab DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE IS ERROR FREE. 
  55.    Smartlab DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WITH
  56.    RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT
  57.    NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR
  58.    A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.
  59.    SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
  60.    OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY LAST, OR THE
  61.    EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,
  62.    SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
  63.    THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO
  64.    HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.

  66. 4. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL Smartlab OR
  67.    ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL,
  68.    INCIDENTAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF THE
  69.    DELIVERY, PERFORMANCE OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF McAFEE HAS
  70.    BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT
  71.    WILL McAFEE'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, WHETHER IN CONTRACT,
  72.    TORT OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EXCEED THE LICENSE FEE
  73.    PAID BY YOU, IF ANY.

  75. 5. ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This is the entire agreement between you and
  76.    Smartlab which supersedes any prior agreement or understanding,
  77.    whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this
  78.    license.
